Welcome to the Peacock Farm Kitchen.
The Peacock Farm is our family farm, it was founded in 1868 and has been passed down through the generations. As the stewards of the land now, we strive to produce garden fresh vegetables and fruits with out any pesticides or growth enhancements applied to them. With the bountiful harvest that are produced each season we travel to the area farmers market to sell our goods to the community. Living by great-grandmothers rule to never let anything go to waste or to spoil we carry on the generational recipes of the family in our artisan food line. We specialize in producing a simple, good tasting, locally grown, locally produced product with out any additives or preservatives add to the products. All prepared right here on the farm in our commercial kitchen.
We believe in supporting the local small farming community so with that commitment the farm also offers the only commercial kitchen in the Lafayette County area dedicated to early-stage catering, retail, and wholesale businesses. Individual kitchen space allow for food preparation, packaging, and distribution of finished products in a health department certified enviornment that offers the top level of food saftey. The kitchen occupies 270 square feet and is comprised of a individual kitchen featuring commercial grade appliances.
The kitchen is available for rental starting September 1, 2011.
